Collaborate with NACC
Join forces with the leading data hub for Alzheimer's Disease research. Together, we can accelerate discoveries and advance treatments for millions of patients worldwide.
Why Partner with NACC?
The National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC) serves as the centralized data repository and collaboration hub for the National Institute on Aging’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers (ADRC) Program. For more than 24 years, NACC has partnered with 42 current and former ADRCs across the U.S. to build one of the world’s most comprehensive datasets on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). Today, the NACC Data Platform includes standardized multimodal data from more than 50,000 participants, ranging from cognitively normal individuals to those experiencing mild cognitive impairment or dementia symptoms.

4. Event Collaboration
Co-host workshops, symposia, and meetings that connect researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders, promoting knowledge exchange and advancing Alzheimer’s and related dementias research priorities across the national ADRC community.
5. Technology Development
Collaborate with NACC on the development and implementation of innovative tools and technologies that expand data collection, integration, analysis, and secure sharing capabilities across the ADRC Program and partner repositories.
6. Data Sharing Initiatives
Work with us to leverage NACC’s established data sharing mechanisms and expand access to standardized Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias research data for the global research community of investigators and clinicians.
NACC's Comprehensive Data Ecosystem
NACC serves as the central hub in a robust ecosystem of Alzheimer’s research resources. Through NACC, researchers can access one of the world’s largest longitudinal clinical datasets, including more than 40,000 participants in the Uniform Data Set, neuropathology data, early Minimum Data Set records, and standardized neuroimaging data from over 6,000 participants. This resource is complemented by partnerships with other NIA-designated repositories: NCRAD, which provides biospecimens ranging from DNA and plasma to iPSCs and brain tissue; NIAGADS, which houses genetic and multi-omic datasets from NIA-funded studies; and the ADGC, which offers ADRC investigators access to comprehensive genotypic and genomic data on Alzheimer’s disease risk. Together, these integrated resources provide an unparalleled foundation for advancing discovery in Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
