ADRC Portal

The ADRC Portal, housed within the NACC Data Platform, provides ADRCs with self-service tools to manage participants, submit, view, download, and audit multimodal participant data in real time. The ADRC Portal will replace static monthly reports with modern real-time ADRC-specific data and on-demand ADRC Program reports, fulfilling a request from ADRCs to have better access to their data submissions.
The ADRC Portal provides access to core data/metadata types: UDS, neuropathology, mixed protocol MRI/PET, standard MRI/PET (SCAN), biospecimen (NCRAD), genetic/genomic (NIAGADS), and participant enrollment metrics.
Each ADRC has its own private ADRC Portal within the NACC Data Platform that is only accessible to designated ADRC representatives. NACC is in the process of developing landing pages and dashboards to customize the ADRC Portal to fit the needs of the ADRC Program.
All ADRC Portal components support single sign on (SSO) authentication powered by CILogon to simplify access and improve the user’s overall experience. Users only have to provide an email address, which is then used to authenticate into both Flywheel-and REDCap-based subcomponents of the NACC Data Platform.
Helping centers manage participants, submit and access data, and generate reports

Manage ADRC Participants
The ADRC Portal provides tools to streamline participant management and ensure accurate NACCID assignment and tracking.
- Assign NACCIDs at consent, utilizing a robust verification process that ensures data integrity.
- Transfer participants between ADRCs through a forthcoming portal feature that will enable seamless movement across centers.
- Update participant information with an upcoming feature that will allow corrections to NACCID records.
- Choose flexible submission options including direct REDCap entry, bulk CSV upload, or automated API uploads.

Submit Multimodal Participant Data
The NACC Data Platform offers a flexible electronic submission interface for ADRCs to share participant data securely.
- ADRCs can upload batch CSV files, use the NACC API, or directly through NACC's hosted REDCap project
- Participant Enrollment, UDSv4 forms, and module data can currently be submitted through the ADRC Portal
- New pipelines in development will support mixed protocol, SCAN-compliant, and CLARiTI-compliant imaging, along with digital data such as voice recordings, digital neuropathology, and digital biomarkers
- A sandbox mode is available so users can practice full submissions with mock data without affecting the live NACC database

View, Audit, and Access Data
The ADRC Portal provides secure access to data, metadata, and analysis outputs across multiple data types.
- Currently available modalities include UDSv4, NIAGADS genetic data, fluid biomarker and biospecimen distributions, and SCAN dashboards
- New modalities coming soon include participant-level metadata and analysis from NCRAD fluid biomarker and biospecimen data, digital biomarkers, digital neuropathology, mixed-protocol MRI/PET, and CLARiTI imaging data

Download ADRC-Specific Reports
The ADRC Portal provides reporting tools to help Centers monitor data quality and submissions.
- ADRCs can check the QC status of SCAN submissions in real time and address errors through ADRC-specific SCAN QC dashboards
- Reports also provide QC details for UDSv4, NACCID assignments, and SCAN-compliant PET and MRI images
